The Jeanette Shell Book Scholarship Fund is a non-profit organization that provides scholarships for African-American Students residing in the Township of Union, New Jersey in pursuit of higher education with a library card.

Mrs. Jeanette Shell has worked for the Union Public library for 45 years. The Jeanette Shell Book Scholarship Fund Inc. was established in 1995 by Mrs. Shell and other community members as an expression of commitment to the community and exemplifies the values and principles to which she has devoted her life.
